Lake Michigan Salmon and Trout Fishing
July 28th to October 29th, 2009
August is salmon madness month on the Great Lakes, with Frankfort, Michigan being the shining star of the famous Lake Michigan salmon fishery. The fishing is simply unbelievable at times, with exciting action for adult Chinook and Coho Salmon lasting well into September.
Fishing Charter Rates are for 1-6 Persons
Morning – 6 Hours or limit catch. Trips run daily, beginning at dawn. Most popular!

Custom trips to meet individual needs can be arranged on most days. Popular custom trips include mid-day departures. Please call Captain Dan to discuss your request.
 
  • It is strongly recommended to make your reservations as early as possible, because prime dates go quickly for each port.
  • A $100 deposit is required to guarantee a date in advance; Visa and Mastercard accepted.
  • Recommended items to bring; warm clothes, food, sunglasses, camera, and a cooler for your fillets. (All fish will be cleaned and bagged.)

Captain Dan Cruchon is a friendly, enthusiastic captain who has served hundreds of fishing guests since 1985. He is licensed by the U.S. Coast Guard, and is a member of the Michigan Charter Boat Association, Thumb Area Captains Association, and International Game Fish Association. Dan's fishing knowledge and love for the sport has consistently resulted in customer satisfaction. Dan enjoys helping his new guests fight their first fish, so fishing knowledge is not needed. Your fishing party will be given Dan's personal attention and best effort to ensure a successful and enjoyable Great Lakes charter fishing experience.

Stormy Chinook Charters operates from the Michigan fishing ports of Frankfort, Drummond Island and Port Austin on Lake Michigan and Lake Huron. Experience big game sportfishing for Chinook salmon, Coho salmon, Steelhead, Lake trout, Walleye and Whitefish. The fishing is phenomenal!
